Samuel Coelho
Born in Modesto, California, and raised in Oregon, Samuel Coelho was immersed in the blossoming Oregon wine industry from a young age. Helping his parents plant and cultivate their estate vineyard instilled in him a deep appreciation for viticulture and the region’s potential.
He earned a BS in Business Management from Oregon State University, with concentrations in marketing, finance, accounting, and international business—tailored specifically to elevate his family's wine enterprise.
Samuel played a pivotal role in expanding Coelho Winery’s reach and influence within the industry. During that time, he also founded Plush Wine Company, a négociant-style venture exporting the majority of its production to the emerging market in China.
In 2011, Samuel and his wife Bryn launched Samuel Robert Winery. Initially following the same négociant model, the winery grew swiftly, leading to the acquisition of their own vineyard in 2014 to meet increasing demand for their Willamette Valley Pinot noir. By 2017, their focus had turned exclusively to developing Samuel Robert Winery and their two estate vineyards—Perrydale Hills and Lucky Rooster.
Wine Enthusiast has recognized several of Samuel Robert’s offerings with top-tier scores:

Outside the wine world, Samuel founded SRC Management in 2010, managing commercial and residential real estate holdings across Oregon and Nevada. His broader mission is to build generational wealth through strategic ventures that support his family’s future.
Samuel and Bryn are proud parents to five children—Con, Francis, Mia, David, and Michael—who enjoy helping in the vineyard and winery. Their family life blends a love for travel, wine, and time together on their home estate.
